Adoption Success!!

Life for Griffin and Baxter was not going so well out on the streets of Dallas. Thankfully they were picked up and brought to DAS where Paws in the City scooped them up! They were covered in fleas and ticks and were sick with kennel cough, but our pals over at Vickery Place Animal Hospital got them feeling back to normal in no time!

The boys were separated after recuperating at the vet in order to be placed in foster homes. Luckily they were reunited at the Peoples Last Stand adoption event on 4/14. It was a wonderful site to see these two cuties so excited to see each other again! They caught the eye of Susan (with her teacup Maltese Sophie in arm) and she decided that both Griffin and Baxter would make a wonderful addition to her family. We were so happy to hear that the boys would be adopted together! The application team quickly processed her app and got it approved.

Griffin and Baxter have been in their furever for a few days now and life is looking up for these tiny terriers!! Their Mom Susan reports that they love running and playing together in her spacious backyard and thoroughly enjoy their nightly walks. We wish them continued success and a lifetime of happiness in their new home!

Looks like these boys are thankful they ended up together again :)
Thank you Susan!!

It's a ruff life!

Calling all Volunteers!!

Paws in the City is still in need of volunteers for several different areas. Please visit our website and review the opportunities available. If you can donate a few hours of your time each month to help save an animal's life then sign-up for something that interests you!

THANK YOU for helping us help the animals :)

**Please note that all volunteers who interact with our adoptable pets must be 18 or older.**

Paws of Hope Prison Program

Peaches and Woodrow graduate from the Paws of Hope Prison Program on 4/12/13. Both of these dogs are fully trained and housebroken. They listen to commands and are very dog and people friendly. These lovebugs need homes after graduation! They are used to a home environment and we don't want them to into boarding, can you help? If you can provide a temporary or forever home for Peaches or Woodrow, please email Stephanie.
